Children’s Smart Centre, a free, inclusive, pre-school for the underprivileged children in the community, is an outgrowth of Childlife Preserve Shishur Sevay.
A Special Reason to Do This.
The girls who have grown up at Shishur Sevay have wanted to do this for a long time. They want to give to others what they have received and what has allowed them to overcome their obstacles. In doing so, they are also becoming the leaders of the community. Today our girls are junior teachers at CSC.
Who do we serve?
Underprivileged children, some with disabilities, from families, where early childhood care & education (ECCE) is not affordable.
What do they need?
Free, high-quality early-childhood Care & Education (ECCE)
Getting off to a good start on a leveled playing field at school
Inclusive environment with attention to special needs.
How are we doing it?
The education at Children’s Smart Centre (CSC) is Activity and Discovery-based according to the NCERT 2019 syllabus. We focus on cognitive, social, emotional and motor skills.
